Know Color of Diamonds in A Few Minutes Watches-Jewelry
Photo via | As a wedding necessity, everyone seems to know diamonds, but they don’t know much about it. Today, I will talk about the knowledge of diamonds. Diamonds have no brand. This is a good understanding, just like gold nuggets have no brand. Diamonds mainly look at “4C”, that is, the weight of the diamond (Carat), Clarity, Color, and Cut. Another important factor is fluorescence.

  1. Weight (ct, carat is a diamond unit, equal to 0.2 grams). The weight of a diamond cheap name necklace is the most easily distinguishable feature in 4C. Diamonds of the same quality are more valuable with greater weight. At the same time, there is also a “carat premium ” phenomenon. For example, although there is only one point difference between the 99-point and 1-carat diamonds, the price is quite different. You can experience the size according to your own hands.
  2. The color is the classification of the white diamond color, from the letter D to the lower row, the lower the letter, the lower the price. Don’t ask why there is no A/B/C; the best diamond is D color picture necklace. Of course, there are other colors of color diamonds including dark yellow, gray, pink, and black and so on.
  3. Cut. The cut determines the sparkle of the diamond brilliance, even if a diamond has perfect color and clarity, but a poor cut will make a diamond lose its dazzling brilliance photo necklace. The roundness, depth, width and uniformity of the diamond determine the luminosity of the diamond.

EX (Perfect Cut): This cut makes the diamond reflect almost all the light entering the diamond.

VG (very good cut): About 15% of diamonds can reach this level of cut. It can reflect the diamond and the light of the standard grade cut.

G (Good Cut): About 25% of diamonds are cut in this way. It is the diamond that reflects most of the light that goes into the diamond.

F (general cut): About 35% of diamonds are cuts of this type, and they are still high-quality diamonds, but generally cut diamonds reflect less light than G-cuts.

P (poor cut): This cut is not recommended. It is best to consider G above. For the national inspection diamond, the G cut is very good because of the stricter parameters. For GIA cut, it is best to consider VG or above. In addition, the cut also depends on Polish and Symmetry. These two items are very good for the national inspection diamond because of the stricter parameters.

  1. Clarity. It can also be easily known from the classification that as long as it is a diamond above SI, you can consider it. Not to mention the IF/FL clarity of the diamond, it is very rare. The average diamond can be very good to VVS, after all, it is a natural product.
  2. Fluorescent. Diamond fluorescence refers to the light emitted by a diamond under the excitation of ultraviolet light. Figuratively speaking, we usually use some parts of the banknote in the detector that ultraviolet light is also able to shine. Some diamonds cheap name necklaces fluoresce, it is usually blue-white fluorescence, and a small percentage of diamonds glow yellow.

The fluorescence in the GIA certificate is divided into four levels: none, faint, medium blue, medium yellow, strong blue, and yellow. Blue fluorescence can enhance the brightness of the diamond custom necklace cheap, yellow fluorescence can reduce the brightness of the diamond. So fluorescent of diamond also depends on which kind of light, which may make the diamond look more beautiful. Some loose diamonds in Europe use high fluorescence as a selling point, and the price is similar to the level of “none”. Therefore, the impact of fluorescence on diamond prices should be analyzed. Overall, the strong blue level diamonds are cheaper than the one level infinity name necklace. The fluorescence level of a diamond has a significant impact on the price of a diamond of more than 1 carat VS grade in D-G color (so small points, especially for 50 points or less, basically will not consider this factor). Generally, weak fluorescence can affect the price by about 5%, medium fluorescence by about 7% to 10%, and strong fluorescence has a greater influence on the higher color, up to 30% or more. After reading this, do you know how to choose a diamond? Because the naked eye is difficult to distinguish the color, clarity, size, and fluorescence, you can choose G/H/I color, VS/SI clarity.
